That is great that VW is running on the Pi.

Their Makerbots do not run on Smalltalk or a Pi as far as I know.   One is on a Mac and the two others are on a windows machine, and I think they run Makerbot Desktop (http://www.makerbot.com/desktop) for printing.

I'll check about whether we can attempt to run the Makerbots using our own software/hardware.  I think it should be OK.  I don't know that anyone has written driver software to run them from Smalltalk.  Or did you mean to create the .stl files that they use when printing?
